Tip-Lock – Rubber Toughened Cyanoacrylate Adhesive 1 oz
Clear, Shock-Absorbing Formula Designed for Tip Installation | Cyno-Lock Series
Introducing our Clog-Free bottle design - See below in red.
Overview
Tip-Lock from the Cyno-Lock Series is a purpose-built cyanoacrylate adhesive specifically engineered for cue tip installation. Featuring a rubber-toughened formula, Tip-Lock delivers the perfect balance of high-strength bonding and impact absorption—eliminating the cracking and failures common with traditional adhesives and epoxies.
What sets Tip-Lock apart is its ability to withstand the constant shock and vibration of play. While standard glues may bond well initially, they often fail over time as the hardened adhesive becomes brittle and fractures under repeated impact. Tip-Lock’s rubber-toughened mixture flexes just enough to absorb the force of each hit, preventing cracks and keeping your tip firmly in place.
The Clear Advantage
Unlike all other rubber-toughened cyanoacrylates on the market—which are messy, black, and hard to work with—Tip-Lock is completely clear. This breakthrough formula gives you the durability of rubber-toughened adhesive with the cleanliness and precision you need for professional installations.

How to Use Cue-Lock
-
First Time Use: Loosen and retighten cap to relieve internal pressure. Trim 1/32" off the tip with a sharp blade.
-
Application: Hold bottle near-vertical and apply Cyno where needed. For best results, ensure mating surfaces are tight and clean.
-
Avoid Clogging
- During Use: Never touch the tip to any surface treated with an accelerator.
-
After Use: Set bottle down firmly to settle adhesive, with the thumb and index finger squeeze the unlabeled sides of the bottle (not front and back) to blow a small puff of air through the nozzle. Wipe the tip and recap. That's it. No more clogs!
